Hurry UP and...

....wait. Which is what we're doing. Sitting around waiting to have a kid. I need shoes. The store I have to buy my size 15 B clod hoppers at is an hour drive. No shoes for me, I'm waiting on a kid. Four days off this past weekend. FOUR DAYS!! How often does that happen for me....like never. Good time to have some bbq and beer. Hold up. Waiting on a kid, so I need to be sober for the drive in. It could be now. Or later. For the sake of my blistering toes I hope he's looking for the exit. The bags are packed. The laundry is folded and put away. The diapers are ready to be filled. Waiting.

Ladies and Gentlemen...Blah

Well, so much for a slide show. I've done a little looking (stress little here) and haven't found a good way to put one on here. But to keep my fan base happy I'm posting a link that will take you to the promised pics.

Everything else here is going well. Cris and I both have a 4 day weekend coming up and we're looking forward to that. No travel plans due to the fact that Dawson could arrive at any time. I told Macy we would do some backyard camping this weekend, which sounded good to her.

A dry warm week has finally arrived so I'm looking forward to some seat time on the Harley. No big road trips in the near future, but late June early July should find me and three others searching out an awesome rib shack in southeast Kansas.....so I'll be posting that adventure whenever it happens.

This past weekend was our 3rd annual Dad's Camp. I have a bunch of fun photo's to share, but I'm still working on getting a slide show on the blog. I will say it was cool, muddy, the fishing was slow, and we had a blast.

For the second straight year we camped at Watkins Mill State Park. This puts us close to home with a nice fishing lake, area for bike riding, and playground at our disposal. Due to a massive (and I do mean huge) rain Friday afternoon we had to postpone our arrival to Saturday morning but still managed to cram in some good fun. The story and pics are soon to come.

Okay...I look like a menonite in glasses, get over it. I've got bigger things to worry about, like that college savings fund. Happy Pre-K graduation Macy!!
