All Snagged Up version 1

One guy is in camo, the other glows in the dark....but they look happy.

Well....happy doesn't always last forever.

I can't figure out if he's crazier for fishing when it's this cold, or for drinking PBR.

Off to the fashion show we go!!

Shane and Ray with a baby spoonie. They both hooked into this one....which is a bit of overkill. He was a few feet short of the minimum length so back in the lake he went.

This is what the keepers look like. My brother-in-law David, on the left, has a 55 pounder. Big Ray brought home a 68 pounder.

Patrick ain't no Saint

No green beer here. To be honest we didn't start out with Natty Light. We had some tasty New Castle Brown, but that soon ran dry. We then went to Sam Adams Cherry Wheat, which is a delightful brew, but that too soon ran dry. So there we were....too tipsy to travel for more shamrock punch, and nothing left in the cooler but 'ol Natty. You gotta have the bad to appreciate the good.

I'd like to take a moment to say goodbye to my fine furry beard. While I had visions of growing this thing out until it parted in the wind....I've come to the realization that it's just looking too damn ratty. Goodbye dear friend. I hope it doesn't kill my clippers!

Fairies

I'm posting this picture of my beautiful daughter so that everyone might get one last look of her with all her baby teeth. We discovered that a lower middle tooth is loose....and she's already counting her money.

Every thing is going well with Crystal and the baby. We haven't come any closer to choosing a name but I'm sure we will come up with something. She's off to Milwaukee on Wednesday morning but will return that evening.
I put the boat in the water yesterday, and to our delight, it still floats! I can taste the fish already.

Mama Mia

Due to fake Mardi Gras and late season snow storms we didn't get to celebrate my moms birthday until last night, a week and a half late. But it did give mom an excuse to drive her uber sporty two seater down here to the city.

We ate at a mom and pop Italian joint in Liberty called Lucia's. While the menu wasn't vast the food was well prepared and the service was great. Plus we had no difficulty having a conversation. Here's Grammy with Abigail and Macy.

Aunt Mary and Uncle Dave.

Aunt Crystal and Uncle Willi.

With rising temps comes dreams of big fish....look for upcoming post on the snagging season. Our first voyage is scheduled for March 27.

Piglet

Okay...it's still a Hog, even if it's a 1200. Due to the snow storm last Saturday I bought a Harley. Those that know me know I've been waiting about 10-15 years for this bike. And it's here...and it's great...and I'm already thinking about the next one I want.
