A beautiful moms day

On one of the few days my wife gets a year to do whatever she pleases, she took us to a ballgame. Our first of the season, and Ace's first ever. It was warm, windy, and wonderful!

I'm a few weeks behind with this post, but I couldn't miss the annual entry. We were shut out for the second year in a row, and it was way to cold for the end of the season, but we had a great time anyway. Our trusty barge did it's job once again with only a few minor, or not so minor, mechanical problems.

Thawed

Summer has arrived! (I hope) I've always considered myself a cold weather person, but lately I find myself looking forward to song birds and green grass. Speaking of which, I'm in the hunt for a new mower....old faithful is finally being put out to pasture. My honey-do list seems to increase with the temperatures each spring. There's hail damaged paint to repair, flowers to plant, fences to stain......I should have a nice tan in no time. Crystal recently took the kids to have some spring/Easter pictures taken. This is the only one I've seen so far....I grabbed it from facebook. Apparently they wouldn't cooperate with the photographer, but I like this one none the less. And this somewhat foggy phone pic is from last night at a 40th Bday party for one of Macy's girl scout friends dad. I didn't really know anyone...but the kids seemed to enjoy the mud that surrounded the swing set. That's my future fashion model striking a pose second from the left.

Well...I'm off to buy a mower, and flowers, and charcoal. Hope the rest of you are enjoying the renewed life that is spring.

My poor neglected blog. It's the six day work week...church on Sunday...run around the house a few times with the kids, and start it all over again excuse. I'm having a blast! ( And to be honest, there hasn't been much to blog about ) BUT - I'll soon be leaving for a Patty's Day trip to Vegas where I'm sure I'll pick up all sorts of interesting topics. Be back soon...
